Tornado Warning Systems To Be Tested April 18

A statewide tornado drill will be conducted by the National Weather Service and emergency officials around 10:30 A.M. MDT on Wednesday, April 18 as part of Wyoming Severe Weather Awareness Week, April 16-20. Representative Hunt is about to begin another Wyoming Legislative Session on February 13th with fellow representatives from all over Wyoming. On Wednesday, November 9 at noon, KASL participated in the National EAS Test alongside many radio and television outlets across the nation. This national test was completed with varying levels of success throughout the country and proved to have its issues. High Winds Cause Damage

Some violent weather made its way to our area Thursday night, October 6th in the form of a thunderstorm with wind gusts reported to be up to 78 miles per hour. AM 1240 KASL Radio has been notified by the WC Attorney’s Office that the escaped inmate William S. Coomer has been arrested and now is in the custody of the WC Detention Center.
