The Burrall Blog – Down For A While, But Not Out

RAPID CITY – Let’s just say that I didn’t have a very good day this past Monday.

As you may have heard, I fell on ice right in front of my home and landed right on my left femur.  In case you’re not aware, that’s the big bone that connects the leg and hip.  The femur was fractured, and I needed surgery on Monday night.  A plate and pins were inserted to stabilize the injury.

I hope to be home in the next few days, but there will still be some time before I’m back on the air on a regular basis. “Today’s Best Country” will continue to take you through the hours when “Newcastle Afternoon” would normally air and my pal Mick Bohn will call Dogie and Lady Dogie Basketball solo until I can get around well enough to return.
