Pinnacle Bank’s Festival of Trees

Pinnacle Bank hosted their seventh annual Festival of Trees Friday, December 4th to raise money for a local non-profit organization. This year’s recipient of the fundraiser was the Weston County Children’s Center. According to Center Director Jane Rhoads, the money is used for fun ‘extras’ for the kids including science centers, indoor sand boxes and kitchen centers.

Total proceeds collected from the auction were $11,872. Pinnacle Bank provided over forty wreaths and six artificial Christmas trees that were decorated by local businesses and organizations. These beautiful creations were than auctioned off to the public. The top selling wreath, made by A-1 Agency, finally sold for $700 after a good natured bidding war between Butch Townsend of WESCO Gas and Craig Wiggins of Jackmaster Construction. Jackmaster prevailed with the winning bid. Another wreath decorated by the Wyoming Conservation Honor Camp sold for $625. Several generous bidders even donated wreaths back to be resold or displayed at the Children’s Center.
