The Burrall Blog – Howdy from Laramie!
9/26/09 – 12:34 PM
Hello from War Memorial Stadium in Laramie.
I know that the weather is nice at home, but it is simply gorgeous here. Temperature is in the mid 60′s with a nice breeze and a clear blue sky.
Dave Walsh and Kevin McKinney say hello. I visited with them for a few minutes before the network broadcast began. Patience, they say, is important for Cowboy football fans right now. This offense can potentially be exciting; it just doesn’t have the athletes right now that it takes to make it work. But the Pokes need to score an offensive touchdown again sometime. Why not today? Well, they have a fairly tough opponent in UNLV. And the Rebels’ Omar Clayton is quite a quarterback.
I can’t blog while the game is in progress, but hopefully I’ll have more for you over the weekend. Also, I’m headed to Denver later today to visit my brother and sister-in-law……….and of course, to see the Rockies and Cardinals at Coors Field tomorrow afternoon.
And, as always, you can listen to Cowboy Football right now on AM 1240 KASL.
