Friday May 4th was the Weston County Library Foundation Basket Auction. Almost 40 baskets were auctioned at the Weston County Senior Center raising a lot of money for our local library! Brenda Mahoney-Ayers estimates that the final total was over $11,000! Amazing!

Last Friday two events took place out and about in the community that were attended by KASL Radio staff. Weston County Library held a Chamber Coffee in celebration of National Library Week. Nicholas Trandahl, a local author; was available for a book signings.

A statewide tornado drill will be conducted by the National Weather Service and emergency officials around 10:30 A.M. MDT on Wednesday, April 18 as part of Wyoming Severe Weather Awareness Week, April 16-20.
